Our Brooklyn Personal Injury Lawyers’ Favorite Beer Gardens Around Crown Heights

While it may not seem like it by the weather, spring is finally here. In Brooklyn, one of the best parts of the warm weather of spring and summer is drinking and eating outside in the numerous beer gardens the borough has to offer. There’s something special about enjoying a delicious craft beer and bar snacks in the outdoors. The city comes alive with an air of electricity as the cold weather subsides. Our Brooklyn personal injury lawyers are big fans of the following beer gardens in and around Crown Heights:

Franklin Park

Franklin Park has some of the best ambiance of any beer garden in Brooklyn. This is one of our favorite places to relax on spring and summer evenings, enjoying some great craft beers and cocktails under the stars and string lights. It makes a great setting for a date night or catching up with old friends.

Some of our favorite food items on the Franklin Park menu include:

  • Dutch Boy Burger – Cheddar, sauteed crimini mushrooms, and caramelized onions
  • Housemade Veggie Burger with chipotle aioli
  • Bahn Mi Hot Dog- Celery, carrot cucumber slaw, and chili mayo
  • Grilled Portobelo Sandwich – Roasted pepper, chipotle aioli, served on a toasted bun with a side salad
  • Crock of Chili with sour cream and cheddar

The Wilky

The Wilky has one of our favorite beer lists in the city, with a steadily changing rotation of a variety of delicious craft beers. They keep 18 craft beers on tap at all times, which means you always have the choice between some of your old favorites and trying some new ones. If you’re more of a cocktail person, they’ve got plenty of unique housemade cocktails to choose from as well. And like any good beer garden should, they have a food menu full of delicious snacks and sandwiches.

Some of our favorite foods to pair with the craft beers and cocktails here include:

  • Cuban sandwich
  • Veggie grilled cheese
  • Italian sandwich
  • Jumbo soft pretzel
  • Barbacoa quesadilla

Washington Commons

We’re big fans of both the indoor and outdoor spaces at Washington Commons. Inside, you’ve got couches, tables, and bar seating with good music and ambiance. During the warmer months, the outdoors transforms into a beer garden with picnic tables. They keep a rotation of 16 craft beers on tap and serve up some delicious cocktails as well, including some of our favorite Bloody Mary’s in the city.

Covenhoven is a small, intimate beer bar with an amazing selection of craft beers. When the weather gets nice, you can enjoy your beers in their beautiful green backyard. They also keep a wide selection of board games, which always make for quality entertainment while enjoying drinks with friends.
